Lean is a systematic approach to identify and eliminate waste by following the product at the pull of the customer in pursuit of perfection. In today’s competition world, market forces dictate pricing and lead time pressures. Therefore, companies need to focus on waste free environment in order to increase market share and remain competitive.

The objective of this course is to learn how to recognize wastes and non-value added activities throughout your organization. The course will enable the participants to understand the Toyota Production System (TPS), and how to generate diagnostic value stream maps, identify cost of quality elements, and understand the lean tools that will lead to lean manufacturing.
